The PMC-280 provides a variety of 16 digital effects, each with 2 adjustableparameters to suite your demand, displayed with highly visible LEDs. Each channel comes with a 3 band isolator - a must feature for long mix play. It includes 2 individual RCA outputs and no more noise problems thanks to the XLR outputs on MASTER 1.

This mixer IS the best mixer for the price. Even when you compare it to a $1500 competitor it wins. It has the sweetest faders on the planet! I have never felt such smooth faders on a mixer. And finally a club mixer that has full kill EQ's. Even the top of the line pioneer doesn't offer full kill and its 3 times the price. I am very happy with this mixer and highly recomend it to any Club/Techno/House DJ.

For the money this deal rules. The sound quality is very crisp and the EQ has complete kills. The effects are not bad, better than say a Pioneer DJM 600 but not as good as the 800 (the kind we use at our radio station). The unit I bought has taken quite a beating and I have yet to see any problems with it. If you just want to impress your buddies, then go dump $2500 on a rotary Rane mixer instead.

This mixer is has good sound quality but has poor function. The effects are totally wack, hard to control at times. The filter sounds just as good as the Allen and Heath, so there is a plus for all you house heads. Overall, buy a real mixer like a Rane or Pioneer you will not be sorry. I had this mixer for a week and then decided to put it up on[...]. You can't compare this mixer to a DJM-800 or Empath! Enough said!

I'm very pleased with this mixer but I am dissapointed in the crossfader. I thought that is was going to have a sharper cut off or simular to a pmc 07 or 05 but it's not. I wish there was a way to up grade the crossfader, any suggestions??? other than that i would recommend this mixer to someone who wants to just do mixing and not much scratching. Don't get me wrong and think that it impossible to still scratch it's just NOT a scratch crossfader and any battle DJ would tell you the same.
I personally am a hip hop Dj that loves to scratch and I've recently been trying to find a muliti channel mixer that still had a good "scratch" crossfader. So I took a chance and ordered this mixer before it was even available in the PSSL warehouse and i'm still wishing the crossfader was better.
