This is a simple to use beat counter that proves to be very useful when quickly calculating the tempo of any song. There are two mode, (1) the beat counter function and (2) the stopwatch. I have used both functions. The beat counter works by tapping 8 beats on the function button on the front. Once you tap in 8 beats, the bpm is displayed. This is very useful for DJ's that slowly bring up the tempo in their sets. I have also used the stopwatch function to record how long it taks to play a song live. This is great when trying to determine how long your live sets should last. There is a single-button design. When you press and hold the button, it switches from beat counting to stopwatch mode. This is one of the easiest to operate pieces of equipment. As for how long this single switch will last? that's to be determined.
