i have a home studio and i still remodeling and to this point that piece was very usefull i can record better becuz my mic will stand the proper way and it will not have echo or other sound interupting the recording song thank you.

Can't really rate this product until it has been in use for some time. It's perfectly utilitarian now, and heavier gauge than the knockoff [*] that already wore out in a few months, but after the nut has been tightened many times, we shall see.

It came today in the mail really quickly from my order day of last Thursday... UPS guy got it here today. Mounted and tested to my approval looks great with my modded AKG, and passed all shock audio tests i just administered. Therefore it does what it's supposed to do. Looks amazing. Affordability. All that. I'm happy PSSL and thanks for the catalog to boot!

I had not had one of these in my hands and was expecting a flimsy plastic product. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy metal construction. I use these with AKG Perception 120s for drum overheads. It is a great product. These can be expensive, but PSSL had a great price.

be careful you don't screw it onto the mic stand too tight. I've done it twice (very easy to do) and it took considerable effort to get it undone.Other than that, it's a great stock shockmount.
