The MultiMix 8 USB 2.0 is a compact tabletop mixer providing USB 2.0 technology for ultra-fast, low-latency, 24–bit/44.1–96kHz (with high-end A/D and D/A conversion) multi-channel audio recording straight to your computer. Designed with low-noise analog electronics, it lets users take advantage of 100 studio-grade 28-bit digital effects. Whether used for mobile or studio recording, the MultiMix 8 USB 2.0 makes recording high-quality audio to your computer fast and easy. Now bundled with Steinberg Cubase 4 LE and Ableton Live Lite 7 recording software.

  • High-gain mic/line (XLR and 1/4" balanced) inputs with phantom power, 2 stereo balanced 1/4"

    So this doesn't work with Windows 7 Professional? I'm hoping when this was released Windows 7 wasn't out yet but it will work with it.

      Yes.The Alesis Multimix allows you to do multitracking with any DAW software. You would have to change the input in the DAW software in order to record in different tracks. The greatest benefit of having a mixer and audio interface together is the ability to control the recording hands-on.

      you would go from your mic into the mixer then on the mixer outputs into your recording software of hardware and the mute button is above the master fader give us a call to help you out
