You can only control Serato Itch using the controller, but you can definitely add vinyl as an external deck if you wanted mix that in.

Actually, yes you can adjust the pitch via the controller. There are two rotary knobs. "Twist" the knob and it fine tune changes the pitch. "Push and twist" the knob and it changes the pitch more coarsely. Check the A&H forums and perhaps even youtube it.

            • A:

This pitch slider is actually a knob. If you turn the knob you will adjust the bpm value in small increments. If you press the knob and turn at the same time the pitch adjustment moves faster in a larger value. When you learn how the controller works with the sync value/auto tempo you will never have to adjust the pitch or bpm manually. Pretty powerful stuff.

          • Q:

I was wondering about the use of external decks (TT's, CDJ's) and the Xone DX. I see that the DX's sound card handles both, but I had a question about this. Would I be able to control Itch decks with my turntables? Could this mixer be used as say a Serato Scratch or NI Traktor Scratch soundcard interface (i.e. the Rane or NI Audio X DJ)?
            Thanks.

No, outbound decks other than a midi controller will not control Itch, you can plug in additional decks, but not to control itch.
