Comments about American Audio CDI-500 MP3 System +:
I HAD SEARCH A LOT BEFORE BUY MINE AND I DECIDED FOR THE CDI 500 AND I'M NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!!
EASY EASY EASY TO SET UP...CASE AND CDJ WORKS PERFECT TOGETHER...LOT OF FUNCTIONS THAT U ARE NOT GOING TO FIND IN ANY OTHER ONE FOR THE PRICE(FILTER,ECHO,FLANGE,PAN,ETC)...PERFECT TO LEARN AND PLAY MIX IN CLUBS AND PARTYS...STORAGE FUNCTION IS JUST A LITTLE BIT HARD TO LEARN BUT U WILL NOT NEED IN THE BEGGINING...I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM AS A STOP MUSIC OR REVERSE.
YA, THE CROSSFADE BOTTOM IS A LITTLE LOOSE...BUT ALL THE OTHER ONES ARE PERFECTLY MADE.
I HAVE SEEN MY BEGGINER FRIENDS CDJS AND THOSE OTHERS ONE(CD 300 DENOM/200 PIONER) LOOK LIKE MADE FOR KIDS,THE BUTTONS ARE CHEAP, EVEN THE DISPLAYS LOOK LIKE A 20 YEARS OLD COMPUTER SCREEN...IN THE CDI 500 MP3 HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION THAT U NEED AND LOOKS GREAT BY THE WAY.
ALSO I HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE DJS THAT TRIED ON MINE AND THEY JUST HAVE GOOD COMMENTS ABOUT IT.
I'M BRINGING MY BACK TO BRAZIL AND ROCK DOWN THERE!!!

Comments about American Audio CDI-500 MP3 System +:
I play at a club where I bring my equipment in on weekends, so reliability is important. First the good: Great and easy set up, works good, great for mixing and the effects are decent, and I love the QSTART feature. Now, the bad: The ends on the case are already loose and the BPM Meter is very inaccurate. The SCRATCHING features is there, but nowhere near the realistic feel of vinyl. BOTTOM LINE: If you purchase this for use, it is a very inexpensive alternative, however it is limited, but for the price you pay, you get a good reliable system. If you are a turntablist, dont get this system, this will disappoint you. If you like to mix, keep it going, without a lot of scratching, this is a good system.

Comments about American Audio CDI-500 MP3 System +:
First, when I tried to press start to play my CD it wouldn't play. I had to hit the cue button to get it to play. Then after a while it reversed itself back right. Then when you're trying to use the jog wheel to adjust a sfx it speeds the CD up. Then if you're scratching & release the jog wheel to start the song it stops. you have to start the CD going again. (What the heck !) They take the simplest things & make em either too hard or too stupid to use. The cross fader on the mixer is just too loose. You can barely touch it & boom the other song is coming in loud & strong. If you order one "PLEASE" keep it at home because if you're a show jock such as I am, you'll get caught up at the wrong time trying to use this crap in a club. Unless all you want to do is mix & mix "only."
