THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!!!! IVE ONLY HAD FOR 2 MONTHS AND IT SHUT DOWN ON ME DURING A HALLOWEEN PARTY AT A PACKED BAR. TOTALLY EMBARRASSING!!!!
SKIPS ALL CD'S, FREEZES UP WHEN ITS WARM, BOP BUTTON GETS STUCK, AND USING THE PITCH FADER ALSO CAUSES UNIT TO FREEZE UP. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!

As a mobile dj since 1983 I have used lots of gear. I really enjoy the simplicity of this unit. I compare this unit to a Numark mix3 but the CK-1000 just has a better layout and functions. The scratch effect is not it's high selling point but it's an attempt. All of the other features work great and if you purchase the ck-case, your are setting up in style. For mobile dj use, this is the best bang for the buck.

I've been a pro DJ for over 30 years. Believe me I know my gear! I demoed this table top player at my friend's music store and was blown away. It sounds better than any of the other American Audio CD players or mixers I demoed costing much more. This player has a rich full sound with a kick-butt preamp for more clarity and power. I played it through several different speakers and was not disappointed. Also, the features make this an steal of a deal. I am purchasing this unit now!

This is the best MP3/CD Player I have ever purchased. It is easy to mix and scratch with this system. The loop features allows djs to be more creative with mixes. The pitch slider allows me to match the BPM of songs.
