The built-in power amp provides power and the cabinet even has two XLR and 1/4" microphone inputs with individual volume controls. The onboard mini-mixer also has treble, bass and master output controls, as well as RCA inputs.

I use it for in house use, parties, ect. I just need a quick loud source to play music from various sources that basically require an aux in option. This particular speaker however does not have audio jack aux in but I can make due with an audio jack rca adaptor. Speaker is rugged but I would like to be able to review after a year or 6 months to fully appreciate how tough the speaker is. Also the power chord in this speaker and in all systems I feel should have a lever that allows you to lock the power chord in place. In this particular speaker the power chord is not as tight as I would like it to be. And the hissing noise when idle or without an input source running is anoying. I would also have liked more imaginative stand angles so I could try different mounting options but not a deal breaker. In all great speaker for plug and play and rough tough power unit.

Not bad at all for the money. You will need to use a mixer and EQ to get a decent sound as the sound quality is fair just plugging a mike straight into it.

This little speaker does well for small events - the sound is average but the cabs are light and hold up well. Works well as a floor monitor also. Don't use them frequently and they will serve well.
