The 400-watt bi-amplifier system features a 15" flat-wound cast frame woofer with a big-daddy 80oz. magnet and a 1" compression driver. This speaker pumps out sound that can fill even the largest of venues! The built-in power amp provides power and the cabinet even has two XLR and 1/4" microphone inputs with individual volume controls. The onboard mini-mixer also has treble, bass and master output controls, as well as RCA inputs. The PXI Series are available at value price points to guarantee more boom for your buck.

I was surprised at the efficiency of this speaker. I installed 4 units in a school auditorium and was shocked at how just one speaker sounded upon my first initial test. Of course the performance only improved when I turned on the remaining 3. the speakers are a must if you are on a budget and don't want to sacrifice sound quality. Because of the efficiency, the system in the auditorium could be turned down as opposed to trying to crank up the sound to cover the area.If you're wondering if this purchase will be worth it, don't hesitate, just get these speakers.

these items are discontinued and PSSL has a great deal on them direct from American Audio- they are a little heavy, but I'm a big guy, so it doesn't really bother me at all. the sound quality, including the bass, is amazing up to their clipping point, which is why I would not use these at a medium to large gig by themselves- but paired with some good subs, and using them more for the mids/highs- they work, sound, and look great. on a sidenote, the only reason it got 3 stars instead of 4- I ordered 2, got them in on time, and one of them didn't work. I sent it back, and PSSL/American Audio took care of me as fast as they could (about a 10day turn around)- have had no problems with them since

This Speaker is loud with clarity. The bass is ok,I use two of these speakers when i DJ along with an 18 inch Sub woofer. The clarity of the highs and mids and the thump of my sub together make a great combonation of sound. I have always been complamented for bringing great clear sound to whatever event i am DJing. When i confess how much i paid for this great sound,there is always disbelief.

Was apprehensive about quality for the price... was pleasantly surprised!!! Great sound, Great fit and finish, love that i can connect with 1/4 inch, RCA, or XLR. I am Impressed!!! My partner has JBL EON 515's. He borrowed my speakers and even he was impressed with the quality of the sound. I am not trying to say that they are the same quality, but still really good for half the price...

I'm not going to lie and say these are the best quality speakers in the world, but I will say they are worth every penny. These are great for smaller rooms and perfect for outdoor events. They are a bit heavy since the Amp is involved, but the space saved and easy setup is well worth a few extra pounds. I own 2 of these and am considering buying 2 more for a 2nd setup.

I recently ordered 4 of these for a mid-sized auditorium (25' wide X 60'Long). Upon initial specifications I figured 4 speakers would cover this room. To my amazement, the room only need 2 speakers. The high sensitivity allows for more headroom on the main board. The Speakers are being flown and cover this room comfortably. For a little more bottom end during a larger production, I added an electronic 2-way crossover and 2 JBL MPRO 18' self powered subs. It was a PA system I had to turn down in the room. The Sound was so full that I was able to keep the volume at such a comfortable level without losing intelligibility. I had no worries with feedback issues even on the lapel mics. If you are on a budget, but don't want to sacrifice performance then get this speaker. You spend about 4 times the price for something comparable but WHY????
