Just plug 'em in and fire 'em up. The most powerful of the PXI series the PXI-15P offers a 15" woofer and a high frequency horn to provide the full spectrum of sound. The 400-watt bi-amplifier system features a 15" flat-wound cast frame woofer with a big-daddy 80oz. magnet and a 1" compression driver. This speaker pumps out sound that can fill even the largest of venues! The built-in power amp provides power and the cabinet even has two XLR and 1/4" microphone inputs with individual volume controls. The onboard mini-mixer also has treble, bass and master output controls, as well as RCA inputs. The PXI Series are available at value price points to guarantee more boom for your buck.

I was surprised at the efficiency of this speaker. I installed 4 units in a school auditorium and was shocked at how just one speaker sounded upon my first initial test. Of course the performance only improved when I turned on the remaining 3. the speakers are a must if you are on a budget and don't want to sacrifice sound quality. Because of the efficiency, the system in the auditorium could be turned down as opposed to trying to crank up the sound to cover the area.If you're wondering if this purchase will be worth it, don't hesitate, just get these speakers.

These are excellent speakers for the price. We just used 12 of them bridge together for a huge outdoor venue and they were amazing! They surpassed my expectations. They had amazing sound for both music and the PA Announcer.

Was apprehensive about quality for the price... was pleasantly surprised!!! Great sound, Great fit and finish, love that i can connect with 1/4 inch, RCA, or XLR. I am Impressed!!! My partner has JBL EON 515's. He borrowed my speakers and even he was impressed with the quality of the sound. I am not trying to say that they are the same quality, but still really good for half the price...

I'm not going to lie and say these are the best quality speakers in the world, but I will say they are worth every penny. These are great for smaller rooms and perfect for outdoor events. They are a bit heavy since the Amp is involved, but the space saved and easy setup is well worth a few extra pounds. I own 2 of these and am considering buying 2 more for a 2nd setup.

I recently ordered 4 of these for a mid-sized auditorium (25' wide X 60'Long). Upon initial specifications I figured 4 speakers would cover this room. To my amazement, the room only need 2 speakers. The high sensitivity allows for more headroom on the main board. The Speakers are being flown and cover this room comfortably. For a little more bottom end during a larger production, I added an electronic 2-way crossover and 2 JBL MPRO 18' self powered subs. It was a PA system I had to turn down in the room. The Sound was so full that I was able to keep the volume at such a comfortable level without losing intelligibility. I had no worries with feedback issues even on the lapel mics. If you are on a budget, but don't want to sacrifice performance then get this speaker. You spend about 4 times the price for something comparable but WHY????

I've been a professional Dj for 16 years and am an Audio Engineer. Judging by +DB impedance levels and audio spectrum range... I'd have to say that if your looking at buying this for an addition to your DJ set up for a PA system, it might not suit you very well. Not too powerful as a full range P.A. This is best suited as a MONITOR for live purposes not a full range PA.
This will make a nice addition to my live sound set up. As for full range speakers, thats what my TR Series JBL's are for. This will make an awsome monitor when mixing live in outdoor situations.
P.S.: GREAT PRICE for a 300watt monitor!!!

I've been a mobile Dj for quite a few years now. These speakers sound great for the price. The high frequency condensor went out after about 3 years of use. [$] and I was back on my way. Paired with Mackie 1501's they are all you need. Great for guys just starting out. Then when you deside to upgrade, keep them for outdoor shows.
