Comments about American Audio Q-2422-Pro 19 3-Channel DJ Mixer:

I recently purchased the Q-2422 after having tried out other mixers. Clearly, this is one of the best mixers I have ever used. It is possibly the best mixer I have ever used. What I really liked was how quiet my turntables sound as compared to previous mixers I have tested. None of that buzzing noise. The crossfader is very smooth. The line faders are not as tight as with other mixers. The Q-2422 has plenty of inputs as well as an MP3 input ready to be used. Also included is a BNC socket for a gooseneck light. The 3 band EQ adds that extra sizzle and control over your sound. The zone output is great especially if you are using a subwoofer or a pair of monitors. This mixer gives the Behringer VMX-1000 and the Vestax DSM-360 a run for their money. I owned both of these mixers and while they looked great, they were a big disappointment. I am glad I chose the Q-2422 over these other ones. By the way, the headphone output is very loud. Great when mixing at a noisy nightclub or party. Overall, I recommend this mixer to anyone looking for a new mixer without having to spend an arm and a leg. There are many choices out there but not many quality products. The American Audio Q-2422 PRO is one of those quality products.

Comments about American Audio Q-2422-Pro 19 3-Channel DJ Mixer:

I had a scratch mixer and I accidentally spilled beer on it one night. It was a [$] one and I didnt want to spent [$] plus tax again so I bought this American Audio 19" Q2422. Its a throwback of the 80's when Numark used to make great 19" mixers because this one is just like those old Numarks. Its solid, sounds great and has alot of features for a 3 channel mixer. What I like is the BNC light socket which my scratch mixer didnt have, a iPod AUX plug in on the face of the mixer, 2 mic inputs, 2 gains one on the face and another on the back panel which really brings up the volume even more so than other mixers. The heaphone cue and program is loud, so its right up ther for using at clubs. In closing what I like about this [$] mixer is the layout, the abundance of inputs for a 3 channel mixer and the simplicity. Once you start getting mixers with effects and such, the sound gets compromised because the effects have to go through the board and then output. If you need effects get a CD player that has them built-in or get a Kaoss pad. This mixer also scratches OK (not great) but I have to get used to the bigger faceplate from a 10" which I had before. In closing, this is a superb mixer and I think will last for years.
