Great design, i would compare it with pio cdj 400s. Similar feel and function with settings adjusted. Love thr fact that they can convert into midi controllers and communicate between players via relay port. I havent really found any faults with them yet but I havent used them to their full potential. I would highly recommend them to use in your home and small events. A feature I wish they had is a usb port but the 3000s have them.

I started using these CD turntables in January, in place of my turntables to lighten my load of carrying vinyl to every gig. Being a vinylist, surprisingly, I have not used my turntables at a gig since. When I scratch a CD most people can't believe this unit actually sounds like a turntable. I don't know if I'll ever go back...not really. I still love my turntables.

Waited for a while to buy these. Seem good and do a good job... until last gig, one of them started to say "Disc Read Error"... sicken Wonderful! for 10 years i used $150 CD players, then buy these for [$] each and I now hove no confidence at all in them... wnat to buy my other unit?

I was originally torn between getting new table top CD players or going with a MIDI controller. When I saw the Radius 1000 I noticed it does both. I can play my CD/MP3 or control my software (Traktor) with it. Wow, this is incredible. Also, I can use 1 Deck to control both side of Traktor, I can actually control 8 decks if I wanted too. The effects are cool and REAL sampling with a sequencer is awesome.
I love unit, why settle for a controller/mixer set up (1 mic, no way). I can't believe they are under $400.00 each.
