Got this controller as a gift from pssl and i am very happy because it has all the features a digital dj are looking for,very well made, heavy and a solid performer. i just installed the software(virtual dj 6 Le)updated the software from American Audio and i was up and running in very little time. the sound is very good and control an knobs are solid and have a good feeling. i just had my firs gig in a friends party and everybody was very impress about this controller. i honest to say American Audio has a winner here. the only fault i found was one of the knobs was not centerd but this did not affect the performance at all. all i can say its i love this thing. and i did not get paid for my review of this product in any way.

As a long time DJ, I loved this unit until my first event. The microphone distorted & ADJ's solution was to send me Impedance transformers. I bought a Odessey case to protect the VMS 4 & now the transformers are too long to fit in the back of the case. I called ADJ support and they told me no corrected models would be available for 6 MONTHS. Now I have to return it. Please beware.

the vms4 comes with a version of vdj that is useless. the support group for american dj and vdj is very hard to contact.i was told the software is free. but the con is to make it worth useing you have to upgrade for 150 bucks more. save your money and time nothing american audio makes is worth spending all that money

I love that even with the unlimited capabilities that Virtual Dj already has, you can still connect external players such as turntables or cd players to this unit. You can very creative with your mix and still keep your system compact. With 2 Mic inputs, the VMS4 is perfect for any style dj.

I was looking for a "Do it all Contoller".All the others ones on the Market (RMX/VCI300/NS7 etc) are all 2 Channels, 1 mic and work only with the software included. This is 4 Channels, 2 mics, can have up to 4 USB/MIDI input AND 4 Analog inputs. Also the scratch wheels are Metal and sturdy. Mic did not sound great, but I called Service and now it does. Look at DX, but no scratching...$1299??. The VMS4 is great

I like the unit, but it has a cue problem. You can still hear the music from the other channel even after you have turned off the cue for that channel. Only after you press the cue buttons a few times will it play the correct cue.

I have been waiting for this and it has not let me down. I wanted a "Do All" controller and this is it. I can use it just with my computer or hook up CD players if I want. Also, 2 mics are great, the wired mics sound better than wireless right now. Most controllers feel toyish, this is a pro piece, very heavy duty. The jog wheels are a little off center but feel great. I can't imagine using anything else. I also love that it is a open platform and I am stuck using one type of software.
