I ordered one years ago for my D.J. setup. Ordered two for my sisters alarm system.Comes on when someone enters front or back yard and can be seen to the end of the yard. (placed in window)

I bought a Red and a Blue light of this type and I had a quality issue with the Blue one. On the bottom of the light is a red LED with 1-10 dip switches. When I pressed on the red LED the light came on but when I just set it down on a table top it wouldn't work. The fix was - I took it apart and got down to the LED/dip switch card and found a connector not completely snapped into the receptacle. Once the plug connection was made the light worked perfectly.
I like the light with the exception of the quality issue mentioned above and it doesn't throw beams on walls like it's legacy light fixture with the light bulb. Other than those two issues I really like the light with all its configurations. It is not DMX controlable

yes this has an AC plug and is not DMX controllable. I set the dip switches and plug it into a on/off controller.Answered on 5/30/2012 by Bills Music Machine from Rhode Island
