I picked 4 of these units up to brighten up my rig... and boy did they! I was using small xenon strobes before and these things are brighter by far.
For the price, they are great. No sound active though and they can not be linked. You're stuck with the independent speed control on each unit.
Very simple effect.

I use this strobe for small areas. its nice to have in your lighting toolbox.
I did a Red Carpet themed holiday event which called for simulated photographers, I used 2 strobes and adjusted them to alternate as guest walked in on the red carpet, so the variable speed feature worked well.
it is lite weight and I was able to attach
a truss clamp.
