Very easy setup out of the box, maybe 5 minutes and it was up and running. Lots of GOBO's, colors, very responsive and fluid moving.

Only dislike is that I couldn't put into a Sound Active mode while it was being controlled on DMX - similar ADJ products (Galaxian 3D) can be taken in and out of SA Mode while in DMX by activating the right channels.

This is a very good light for the price. Fantastic Value.

Pros: Affordable moving head light, Gobos are decent (especially for the price), good strobing function.

Cons: Can't fade the light up or down, no fine measure for the pan or tilt (this isn't a real problem, just needs getting used to), focus is manual on light, and is not symmetrical

Bottom Line: This is a great light for the price. I love them, you have to take time to practice with them and get use to using them, but they really elevate performance and experience for the audience. You need to be aware that the lens is not in the middle when operating it in a specific manner. Also, adjust the focus in venue before the audience arrives, it can't be adjusted from the board or while it is moving as it is a manual focus right on the lens. Finally PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE, get use to using the pan and tilt function, especially if you aren't used to using moving head yokes. I very highly recommend this light. If you are mounting it on truss however, be aware that it only has 1 bracket for clamp mounting, not 2 like most more expensive lights.

Cool Lights, I think it runs very hot.

I just don't understand this fixture, it's suppose to be duty free, but it has a warning to only run for 15mins per session to prolong the life of the bulb. Also it does not state how many hours of life are on the bulb.

One of the best, cheap, moving head lights i have. This light is very cheap and it is very good! i have only had problems with one of them, the light's color wheel motor burnt out the second day i had it, so keep an eye on the light.

I really wish I would have paid the extra $100 for the American DJ DJ-SPOT-300. I was disappointed highly to learn it didn't have dimming, and expecially gobo rotation.

I am a professional DJ, and bought a pair of these units about a year and a half ago, and they run as great now as the day I bought them, they have been the backbone of my light show, and its quite amazing how much more lively my show has become with them. They are so easy to use, and never have mechanical/bulb issues. I've let them run for hours on end, and have been nothing but impressed by them.

Great for the road... and if you have alot of them for colors.... ( onto projector screens ). The only thing I dont kinda like is you always have to make sure for the 1st 2 weeks it runs smooth.. and it dont break for no reason ( well the insides ).

Otherwise its a great MOVING HEAD!!

My only disappointment in the unit, is the three internal chase programs that it has. But other than that, you can't beat the performance it gives every show especially for the price. Great Unit!
