I wasn't expecting much from the DP2 given its price point. But after installing and using it for a while I began to appreciate it more and more.
It's got all the fuctions needed for creative mixing in a well thought out design and flexible 19", 3 space rack mount form factor. It works well with PCDJ software (if you haven't checked out PCDJ DEX 2.0...you should), and it sounds very good. I love the convenience of a combination controller and mixer.
Only issue I've found is with the job wheel, which doesn't have great resolution for cueing, and may be too flimsy for you scratch DJ's out there.
Overall nice job American Audio, and thanks Kevin at PSSL for the price match.

Yes the DP2 does indeed connect to a amp. You take the RCA outputs on the rear of the unit and plug it into the input of the amplifier. You can also record your mixes if you have a recording software on your computer.Answered on 8/22/2011 by Rafael from Cypress CA

Yes this device can be used on both PC and MAC. If you are having trouble with this software on a MAC you can follow these next steps to get it working.
Open the audio MIDI setup utility under applications utilities or by searching for it in finder or spotlight.
Open the MIDI Window under the Audio MIDI setup program.
If your DP2 show up as shown this is the reason why your DP2 is not picked up on Virtual DJ. Double click on the ADJ-DP2 under the MIDI studio window, when the device window opens under device name change the name to ADJ-DP2 MIDI. Now click apply.
