I use two Electras from a truss for events. The lights throw out enough light, but they lack a certain flair. I would not recommend using these lights by themselves, but paired with a couple other lights they aren't too bad. Kids at school dances and weddings love them.

Great light, but the effect is better with more than one of these in your light show. Projection is great if used from a truss pointed at an area not too far from the stand. It would be nice to be able to adjust the zoom for long throws so that the effect is not so large across the room.

The sound activation programs are a series of movements the beam will make when activated by sound. This light can work stand alone from your truss, but I would recommend hooking up to a switch to turn it on/off between sets as this light does not turn off when no sound is being made.
