Even though its recommended for loads of up to 30 pounds, I was forced to add a little more for this one gig, and it held up like a champ! But remember,...safety first!.

Works great if you are not using too many lights. I am not sure about the screws stripping out as I have bought Quick Clamps for all my lights.

I am a mobile dj. This stand worked fine until I added my Revo III to it. The stand would not hold up and kept sliding down. I had my Revo III, a Chauvet Kinta and a Chavet J-Five and the stand could barely handle it. I wanted to put my fog machine on it too, but there's no way it will handle that. It's great if you have small lights or maybe just 2 medium sized lights on it.

You get what you pay for with this stand. It can support smaller lights with no problem. I placed a larger light on it and it looked/felt like it was going to tip or break. For [$] it works well for smaller lights.

Bought a complete set of new collars (only way to obtain the knobs) just to get a set of knobs to replace the easily stripped originals!
Like the originals, the new one's have already stripped after only using them 2-3X's w/VERY, VERY, light tightening.
Cheap, Cheap, Cheap Chinese metal in the knob threads! I am now on a quest searching all the local hardware stores for a set of good quality American made matching replacement knobs! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BUY THESE, unless your ready to do the same!

I bought these because they came with the adapter to mount a single fixture on each stand (a Par 64 LED in my case since that was all the lighting I needed for small club use) on the top extension pole without having to use a crossbar, and they are also light which was also a plus.
The stands themselves are built well enough for my intended purpose, however the main flaw in them is that the metal used in the threads of the knobs is "very" soft and weak and stripped out after lightly tightening them after only 3-4 times of use. "Very disappointing", to say the least! So for now I'm left searching for better knobs rather than replacing them with the same parts from American DJ! Just cheap Chinese materials I guess! I'm going to go ahead and recommend them since I like the stands themselves, just be ready to replace the knobs right off the bat!

Light bar works GREAT, IF You stay within the weight limit, (30lb). Do NOT test this, it will NOT hold, I know, I tryed it. Just ordered a 2nd LTS-6. Quality is not that great, but works great for small parties. Easy on the knobs when you tighten up the bar, you just may stip it, like I did. All in all, for the price, you can't get a better light bar.
