This is a great product for mobile DJ's a clubs where a long beam throw is not necessary. The LED spots are generic but the color patterns are very smooth and flawlessly move to any music. They sync very well under master slave mode or DMX. Another perk is these are smaller and very light weight. You will need to be very careful when transporting these units because the moving heads are fragile. The moving head on this unit is what really gives it the intell-lighting look and for less than $150 each its a great buy for anyone.

This is my 2nd unit bought from Pssl.com. I also posted the other review of this light. UPDATE- In sound active mode the first light it still won't center properly.
....That being said I fixed my controller and bought this 2nd unit and TA-Da.
These lights are worth every penny. Most of what I can make it do via dmx is never shown in the built in programs. I programmed a couple of really basic light shows and set them to music (not synced or sound active).
For less than than cost of 1 of most other lights you can have two. For no more than the cost of the non Dmx LED Electra or LED Rover you can have the control to make it only white, red, blue, or green instead of mixed only like the included show and many others neat modes and angles. Sharp beams that would be best with a light fog (from machine or homemade).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was looking for a modern (LED) version of a moonflower. I Checked out the Revo family and most of the others.Ultimately I chose this one because it offers basic Dmx control over it's functions (though since my Dmx controller died I have not tested it). For convenience they can also do master slave as well as sound active.
My only complaint so far is that it does not center correctly, on turn on, and I have to move the mirror one click left. Then it will stay centered/ return to center until it is turned off. I have asked the techs in the ADJ forum about it and am awaiting the answer.Though for the price it is a minor inconvenience and I feel confident enough that I have ordered a second one.
Even both running will only Draw 25w of power where my scanners bulb was 250w alone. If I have any more issues or an answer I will update when I get the new one. Save money, minimize heat go LED.
