This is a very bright TRUE WHITE light, once you get it plugged in!!! The plug in actually detaches from the light (similar to a cell ph. charger)and the part that actually plugs in to power is 3 inches long by 2 inches wide, taking up THREE outlets!! NO BUENO!! VERY aggravating if you don't bring along a separate power strip to plug into your light control system THEN plug in the light.
The light is perfect for slow songs. If your going to get one get a 2nd one and put one on both ends of your truss. Fix the plug in and its a A++++++ light, the plug in gets it a C.

I just recently purchased the American DJ Starball LED to replace my American DJ Rotopod 250. The rotopod smoked and really didn't cover the floor I am glad that purchased this light. I would recommend that anyone with a TBar purchase the DURA CLAMP for this light. Overall another great product from American DJ.

This light has a huge power adapter. It is almost impossible to hook up more than 2 of these lights in the same outlet, surge protector or lighting controller. If you want something that will work excellent, get the dmx version and just run it on stand alone. you won't be sorry.

Used disco balls for 10 years as a mobile DJ.
Got tired of constantly adjusting the lights,
so I tried these. I recommend using two of these.
One on each side of DJ booth. Plug in and let them rum all night for perfect soothing white light.

This is great to get rid of the mirror ball and pin spots. Ideal for smaller events, this effect is small in size, lite weight, easy to use, and puts out a fair amount of light. Better when used in pairs.
