This is a small par can that will work with all current light truss clamps. I had bought a color changhing light bulb and needed something to put it in. The Mini Par Can (JDR-50) by American DJ is the perfect choise. It fit it perfectly and looks like any other par can, just smaller.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Yes, these units do plug into a standard 110 Volt outlet. I believe that a standard thred bulb will fit but it is recommended to use the appropriate power rated lamp. The Import MR16 50W 120V E27 Screw In Base Lamp (Item # 24714) is the correct lamp for this light. We have plenty in stock.
