I am a Mobile Dj and this is an excellent addition to my performances especially at Wedding Receptions. I can control my whole lighting effects with this. I make one of my LED P64 and colored spot for special events during the reception. I can make the dance floor a whole certain color effect of my choice with the push of a button. I will purchase atleast (1) more for my other dj packages

Does NOT work on 64 bit system. Many of the fixture personalities are wrong. Instructions are written by someone that doesn't speak english. The software looks like it was programmed by a 6 year old. You can't link channels together to control multiple fixtures simultaneously. You have to move each fader one at a time. Not worth the money AT ALL!

Being a first timer at the lights, and have very little to no exposure of DMX anything - this software made it really easy to jump in and make some great light shows for parties.
Really easy to install, worked great (never crashed like previous reviews had mentioned), will absolutely use for years to come.

This software sets up easy, and after following the tutorial online, you'll be up in no time. This thing covers almost every light imaginable. The 3D visualization is not as useful as running it through the actual light system itself.

It's great to setup unique and customizable lightshows. It takes some practice to get the hang of it. It's literally trial and error in some cases. But overall, this is a great choice of a software, you can actually see of what the lights will do before you set the gear up and perform at a show.

MyDMX is a step in the right direction for easy dmx software...but it lacks some features that most mobile DJs have become used to. Programming is very easy even for those that no next to nothing about dmx programming. Playback lacks speed control, master dimmer control and blackout. I am much happier with Lumidesk.
