This dual-moonflower is a great effect for mobile DJs or clubs looking to add some LEDs to their lineup. I have two of them now.

The changing patterns within the moonflowers themselves, combined with the beam movement and rotation, makes for an energetic display. The beams are bright enough to show up in a fully lit room and really stand out in the dark. It has a wide coverage area -- just one can light up the dance floor of a medium-sized reception hall.

It has a few minor downsides:

1. It is quite wide, so it leaves less room on a lighting stand for other large effects.
2. There is no sound sensitivity control knob, DMX or other ways of adjusting how it performs. The effect runs entirely on its own internal programs. Make sure it is near your music or be prepared to crank the volume for optimum performance.

I do have a video review on this light, on You Tube, look me up, username: sleeperawaken[...]This is a really striking effect in fog or haze, particularly when it starts strobing! For a non-DMX light, it does still look rather intelligent, and there is a DMX version coming out. I do wish this version was linkable, but still a really great effect for the money, and runs stone cold all night!

Wow ! the day I bought I used it for my big Halloween party . It was crazy , really brought a new spectrum to lighting . I left it on all night and it never went out , never got hot .I love , I'm planning on replacing all my lighting with LEDs .
