I bought this light for weddings and other mobile events and used it for a high school dance this weekend. It was projected, from the floor, onto a 15 foot ceiling to produce a 25 foot pattern. I often caught the crowd looking up at the patterns while dancing. This is my new favorite light.

The club I work at, barrowed bucks road house, went green. All the dj's helped design the club new dance floor with a combination of led and discharge lamp fixtures. Although we were split between the Revo III, II and chauvet veu III, we purchased the Revo II. There are several different macros to choose from, different scenes settings from strobe to fades. Rotating scenes... all in all its pretty impressive. We have 4 Revo II's now and have them set up to create alot of different scenes. The DMX channels are easy to set but the programming is a bit tricky. no matter what macro "scene" you have it set to, it will eventually jump to the next macro or start strobing as if it was on sound to light. We found ways around it by just reseting the macro for a split second on the controller. Other wise its a great light and we are very impressed with it expecially for the price. Practice n Enjoy.

I use this light at my DJ/karaoke shows it is bright and runs cooler than all my other lights it gets more use most of my other lights use high wattage bulbs causing them to run extremely hot so can only run them 10 or 15 minutes then have to turn off to let cool these lights i let run for over an hour and still cool to the touch I'm upgrading to revo 3 i am very pleased with this light you can slave together and use DMX controller or LED controller great light wish they were a little cheaper
