I've been building up my light show for the past year now. The Tri-phase lights looked pretty cool when I checked them out online etc. They are well built and are plug in and play ready. I bought two of them, so I could link them via DMX cable as master/slave. The colors are bright and travel pretty far. The first gig I got to use them at was a school dance, but I wasn't allowed to use my fogger. Long story short, without fog all you've got is a bunch of scrambled lights hitting your dancers. I'm sure the Tri-phase lights will impress, but it will take some fog to do it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Overall this is a nice product. However, the beams are very sharp (thin). It would be nice to see this product with fat beams.

If you need to buy a new light this is the one for you. Super low power use ( only a few watts ). Very bright. Huge beam spread. I just bought another one. I've been a dj for 18 years and this is the best "bang-for-your-buck" fixture I have ever seen.

This is a great effect producing multiple color from a bright 10-watt LED. This may not seem like much, but it really has a good light output. It's a 4 channel DMX effect but has some great built in programs. It's big compared to the starball LED but much smaller than the Aggressor. Definitely a good addition to any light show.
