Comments about Apogee ONE USB Audio Interface With Built-in Mic:
I was looking to upgrade my audio interface and I started listening to recordings made with Apogee products. The more I learned the more I wanted to look into improving the quality of my audio in a meaningful way. While I wanted a rack unit with multiple inputs, I decided what I wanted most was to be able to hear with pristine clarity the signal I was sending into my Mac-based DAW, and that's exactly what I got. The sound quality gets 5 stars, I noticed a definite upgrade in the signal going into my DAW and I couldn't be happier. The Maestro software is another plus, as is the intuitive nature of the device itself. The drawbacks with this unit are the break-out cable and the 1/8 in headphone out, but the sound quality far outweighs the challenges so I decided to keep my old interface for the monitor outputs and switch to it to check my mixes. Incredible sound... I look forward to the improvement in my recordings from here forward.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
