The MacBook Pro models are equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo™ processor, 15.4" LED-backlit display with 1440-by-900 resolution, 250GB or 320GB 5400-rpm hard drives, and up to 4GB of 1066Mhz DDR3 memory. All models come standard with NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT discrete and NVIDIA 9400M integrated graphics processors, dual-link DVI functionality and dedicated GDDR3 graphics memory. The MacBook Pro also includes a built-in iSight Camera, two USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 800 port, a Mini DisplayPort, optical digital input/line in, optical digital output/headphone out, stereo speakers, an internal microphone and ExpressCard/34 slot, and 8X double layer burning SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) for burning CDs and DVDs. Built-in communications include Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 10/100/1000 Base- T Ethernet (Gigabit), and AirPort Extreme for wireless networking capability. Standard on all models is the Sudden Motion Sensor (SMS) for hard drive protection and an illuminated keyboard with ambient light sensors.
