Back in March, we took a look at CHAUVET's 4BAR, and marveled at the easy setup and operation of that complete LED wash system. CHAUVET has now raised the bar- so to speak, with a new LED moonflower system called the 4PLAY. Designed for maximum versatility, the 4PLAY is a show-stopper on its own but can also be paired with the 4BAR to create a dynamic duo. The 4PLAY system consists of four bar-mounted LED moonflower heads, and a convenient carry bag. For maximum versatility, the 4PLAY can slide onto most tripod stands. Unlike T-Bar style units, the 4PLAY allows your tripod pole to slide through the unit itself. This allows you to mount the unit at any height regardless of what is mounted atop the tripod, a speaker for example. Another striking option is to mount the 4PLAY below the 4BAR on the tripod. Taking versatility one step further, the 4PLAY also has mounting points and bolts to easily attach clamps for truss mounting. Tighten it down, plug it in, and you are good to go!

Each of the 4PLAY's heads can be individually aimed allowing the user to cover as much or as little of the room as desired. Each head is fitted with 57 red, green, blue and white LEDs with a coverage angle of 25 degrees. Users can create their own light show utilizing 6 channels of DMX control via any universal DMX controller. For those who relish simplicity, the 4PLAY is packed with sound-activated or automatic programs. Combining the 4PLAY with the 4BAR allows you to easily set up a completely mobile lighting show. The 4BAR will wash you, your stage or dance floor in a glow of the color of your choice, while the 4PLAY projects dancing and pulsating beams of light in all directions.

Don't worry about voltages because auto-ranging power allows the 4PLAY to be plugged into voltages ranging from 100 to 240 VAC. And due to LED technology, the fixture consumes very little power and emits little to no heat while producing an intense show. Burned out bulbs are a thing of the past for this fixture because its LEDs have a long performance life.
