This year alone, the manufacturer unveiled three LED cans, two LED panels, an award-winning sound-activated LED tube and a range of DMX-compatible controllers that greatly widen options for a dynamic show at the cutting-edge of technology and with solid value. We took a closer look at the PAR-like cans and one panel system.

SPLASH INTO VALUE, PORTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE

COLORsplash™, COLORsplash™ Jr. and COLORmist T open up a new world of enhanced stage, ambience setting and entertainment applications with their RGB mixing capability. The three washlights rig quickly like conventional fixtures on a truss system but unlike conventional cans using gel filters, they can project multiple colors at the source. They connect in master/slave mode very efficiently and their built in programs have a greater range of color and movement (chase patterns, fades and strobes). Both COLORsplash™ Jr. and COLORsplash™ respond to DMX control.

Another big benefit is that you save money in replacement and back up lamps as well as energy costs and maintenance. Life expectancy of most LEDs is around 100, 000 hours and there is no filament to break. They generate very little heat and drawing little power. You don’t have to worry about your venue’s cooling costs heating up.

Packing 86 ultra bright RGB mixable LED diodes, yet extremely compact, COLORsplash TM Jr. is an amazing ultra portable lighting fixture, weighing in a mere 3 pounds. You can even lock in a color using a dipswitch on stand-alone. The bigger COLORsplash™ packs 196 diodes that produce a high output, rich wash. It performs on stand-alone via dipswitches. It can be permanently installed, flown or set up repeatedly, night after night. With minimal power consumption, an industry leading 2-year warranty, and a 100,000-hour diode life, this is one fixture that will be in your lighting arsenal for the long haul.

EASING TEMPERS AND TEMPERATURES

For the easiest operation and installation, look to the COLORmist™ fitted with 80 LEDs with an output of 200 lumens at 1 meter. It is available in a starter package consisting of 4 cans, 1 COLORmist™ controller, and 1 COLORmist™ Power unit plus cables. The controller activates built in programs and is itself DMX-compatible.
Installation is as simple as it gets. The same cable supplies signal and power and since the fixtures are linkable, just one outlet will feed a number of cans throughout your entire venue.

Once you have the starter package, you can build up your show easily by purchasing additional cans, and power units separately. What’s more, these cans can be linked with square, wall mountable COLORmist™ panels, which use the same COLORMist™ Power unit and controller for operation. This easy combination revolutionizes high-impact lighting presentations in ways that users of conventional lighting fixtures can only dream of.
