QUALITY IS JOB ONE
The d.2 is one of the best-built DJ mixers we've come across. From the solid
construction, robust knobs and smooth controls, this thing just screams
"built-like-a-tank." With its solid 14-gauge all-steel chassis (thicker than
Vestax, Rane, etc.), the d.2 is more substantial than any 2-channel mixer we've
come across. But it isn't all brawn. The d.2's got brains too; as the first DJ
mixer with a FireWire option, it lets you mix and record music directly to and
from your Mac or PC laptop or desktop. More on that later.

Here's where things really get jiggy. The d.2 is the world's first mixer with an optional FireWire connection. With the FireWire card installed, you can connect the d.2 mixer to any computer (Mac OSX 10.3.5 and higher, Windows XP) and get direct access to music from almost any music software. Just set the Input Select switch at the top of either or both channels to "FireWire" for instant access to your stereo music files. And it's just as simple to record your own music to computer. There's no additional hardware required, so live on-stage or in the comfort of your studio, you can produce professional, broadcast-ready music you'll be proud to share.
Wide-Ranging File Support
Motion dive accepts QuickTime movies and most picture formats from digital cameras, as well as AVI and MPEG files, and Macromedia Flash content. To get started right away, motion dive comes with a video library created by top professional VJ artists. Motion dive is compatible with Mac (OSX) and PC (XP/2000).
