As fast as you can grab a fader an alter a sound or automate an effect on the MC-808, its just as easy to grab your mouse and get busy editing with the luxury of your own large computer monitor (sold separately). The MC-808 ships with editor software (Mac OSX, Win XP/2000) that lets you perform serious sample editing tasks such as auto chopping and the layering of drum samples all on your computer. You can even import your wav or aiff files via USB. It doesn’t stop there, use the patch editor to tweak your sounds or create new ones. The mixer page allows you to easily assign patches or drum kits to parts and mix the levels while having access to adding some reverb or any of the 47 types of MFX to any part.
