Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
Had these for about 5yrs and still in great condition, word to you naive Dj's out there, learn the difference between quality sound and noise and I promise you your equipment will last longer. These speakers are great for small to medium venues, and will hold what they can handle. Being doing this for 30 yrs so I have the ability to make anything sound good, that's why I could careless what other people say, my advice is all equipment breakdown, its just a matter of when.

Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
I borrowed a pair before purchase, when I tested at home, they sounded "warm" with a lot of bass. Later at wedding that "Warm bass" was a nightmare.
By themselves they did not have enough bass and when I added a sub and cut the bass off in them, they were still producing that fake bass that sounds awful in the microphone. In genres like hip hop and reggeaton, the sound was terrible.
A speaker should only amplify and produce what is being received- not process the sound . These speakers changed the sound at every volume stage... NOT GOOD.

Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
Some dj friends recommended the BEHRINGER B215A to me and I was surprised by the sound of this speaker. I use the BEHRINGER B215A for wedding ceremonies and smaller events that do not require a constant, high output of sound. Very economical and very easy to set up. Do not use this speaker for large events that requires high output of continuous sound. I used the speaker at a school function that required more continuous power and the amp blewout. Very hard to repair. Great speaker for small events.

Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
I am a professional DJ and have been for years. I used these speakers and figured out they are no good at all. Stick with the wood enclosed 1220A Eurolive series if you want quality. They are comparable to the Yorkville NX55P powered speaker.
Don't call yourselves DJs if you use these. You obviously don't know the way to EQ a room.... With these there is no EQing.
NO GOOD NO GOOD NO GOOD!!!!!!!

I had this speaker for two years now and i exchange these speakers about 5 times during the course of two years because the fact of the tweeters keep blowing out..I'm happy with the speakers besides the fact of spending money to replace the tweeter..I dj alot of events and i don't think it is professional the way the tweeters keep blowing out..

Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
Bought two pairs to use as monitors and small gigs. I was surprised at the sound quality. They were great. I have used them as monitors at clubs and medium to large venues. I have used them as mains for small venues. In all cases they have performed superbly. I'm impressed and so are my fellow DJs when they hear them. Great buy for the money!!!

Comments about Behringer B215A 15In 400W 2-Way Powered Speaker +:
Having used exclusively Mackie products with my Karaoke Production company, I didn't expect miracles when I picked up a pair of these to use as low-cost monitors...Boy was I surprised! While the cost may be low, the build quality, sound quality, and overall performance of these speakers is competitive with others costing MUCH more! Coaxing the best sound out of these requires a little playing around with the gain if you are going to use the 2-band eq that the speakers have built in (every volume level seems to have different sonic characteristics so the "sweet spot" can be difficult to find) but if you run these with the gain set to midpoint and the eq flat through an APHEX 204 (as we do) these speakers really project a clean, clear vocal sound at surprisingly high volumes. [...]you would be hard-pressed to find this level of performance in a used, powered speaker system, let alone brand new! The only thing I would recommend is a set of heavily padded carrying bags if you are at all rough with your equipment as the controls on the rear of the speaker protrude slightly, and may be damaged (I would assume) while bouncing around in your equipment van... Two thumbs up, Behringer[...]!
