This is a good speaker for mobile dj's. The sound quality is great for the price, and it has a nice EQ setup for tweeking your sound. There are only two down sides to this speaker. IT IS heavy and hard to lift. The other is that the handles are not ergonomically designed to make lifting easy or carrying easy. This is a double wammy when trying to mount this thing on a speaker stand.

I actually got the B415DSP Speakers as an early birthday present from my mother. I listened to them at a store and was told I could bring them back if I wasn't satisfied. I used them in a small hall in August 08 and was surprised at the power of these speakers!!!! I keep the speakers set at 12:00, my low cut is at 3:00 and the high cut is maxed. I have yet to take my master on the mixer past 5 and the turntable volume past 3. I used them in a LARGE ballroom for a wedding reception August 1, 2009 and was shockingly surprised at how these speakers filled the room with hardly any effort!!! The louder I went, the better they sounded with no distortion whatsoever. I finally learned the noise gate feature and that made a huge difference. I put wheels on the bottom of my speakers which made a huge difference in moving the speakers. The weight eas definately an issue but I got use to it. I definately would recommend these speakers just on the great sound they put out. For the price, it's the best deal going.

For the money, these are very excellent powered cabs. They sound really good, balanced, crisp and clear, yet smooth. They sound good when turned up as well. I don't think you can get any better for the price. Now if you are not budget handicapped (LOL) you should look at the QSC powered cabs, they are the best, but of the price, the Behringer B415DSP and B412DSP are really good. Cons: they are heavy, no light weight amp, and no neo drivers. Heavy woofer, compression driver and amp installed, and the carrying handles aren't comfortable. I advise carrying it from the back. I'm not a big guy, and I can get them on stands on my own, but the more expensive cabs are about half the weight. If you don't mind the weight, these are a great buy. These Behringers are great spekers.I love sound quailty and the attractive look but the its a pain to mount on stands because of its weight. Behringer has gotten a lot of negative views in the past but this speaker with change alot of minds about Behringer. Overall, I will give this speaker a 4 out of 5 star rating . Great Job Behringer.
