Comments about Behringer C1 Studio Condenser Microphone:
I bought it to add to my collection of mics. I'm a "mobile DJ" and yes I know its a "studio mic" and I found out the hard way that this is no good for using for DJing. No matter how I set it up or which mixer or amps or speaker types I used, I always had a "hum". Only use this as a studio/recording mic. Still a good mic.

Comments about Behringer C1 Studio Condenser Microphone:
The mic picks up pretty much every noise, so just adjust your mixer well and it will work great! I am gonna buy a second one when I go to a 2 mic setup.

Comments about Behringer C1 Studio Condenser Microphone:
I wrote a review for this product in January, 2008 and would like to make a correction to that previous review. I said something about not using this in a live setting. I did not do the product justice in saying this because if the system you're using has appropriate eq settings this works great in a live setting as well. I ran into a problem with feedback issues because I neglected to roll off the high frequencies. This can be more of an issue with a condenser because the feedback is more pronounced. I can't rightly blame the mic for behaving as it should when the error was mine.

Comments about Behringer C1 Studio Condenser Microphone:
We bought the Behringer fca202 podcast setup as a temporary solution for a quick studio. when we got it we were amazed at the quality of such a cheap mic/setup. that was two years ago and we still use it to this day.

Comments about Behringer C1 Studio Condenser Microphone:
The Beringer C1 is a lot of mic for very little scratch. It may not compare with a 2 or 3 hundred dollar mic but it is dead quiet and very natural sounding. It picks up the room quite well. Two things to be aware of: The stand adaptor is plastic so don't go knocking it around. I've had mine for a year and it's still like new. The second thing is I don't recommend trying to use this in a live application. Trust me, just don't do it. Overall a great product.
P.S. If you are looking you will have a hard time finding a dealer who sells this product. Many vendors seem to lean more toward higher dollar products so don't pass up a deal like this.
