DJs the world over love the DJX700 — and we are grateful that so many have made it their “go-to” mixer. So when we began design on the DJX750, we knew we had to do something very special. We started by revving up the FX processor and putting advanced parameter control right at your fingertips.

In no time you'll be creating powerful sets with your own custom-tailored effects sounds, all of which can be controlled in real-time. Some parameters at your disposal include Bit Crusher depth, manual filter sweeps, Panning (LFO Rate), delay/echo time and much more. You can even set delay and echo timing relative to the internal BPM counter for extremely musical results. It is kinda like a DJX700 — but one on steroids!

Really good digital effects add the finishing touch to a solid performance, and ours are really good! With 33 outstanding effects to choose from, including an assortment of Phase Shifters, Flangers, Reverbs, Delays and more, your audience won't know what hit them. There are even Auto Filter and Voice Changer effects that will take your show to a whole new level.

Channels Galore

Because your voice is your instrument, the DJX750 features a dedicated mic channel with all the tools to make your sound supremely distinctive. Vocal fi ne-tuning is handled by the onboard 3-band EQ, which provides up to 15 dB of boost or cut at LOW (80 Hz), MID (2.5 k), and HIGH (12 kHz) frequency centers — creating an extremely broad tonal palette. The DJX750's stereo channels' EQ utilize the same frequency centers with a boost of up to 12 dB and a cut of as much as -32dB. These channels are equipped to handle every conceivable input source — from line level, phono, CD and tape decks to mp3 and minidisk players, we've got you covered.

Auto Ducking

DJX750's talkover function automatically detects your voice and brings down the volume of the music track (referred to as “ducking”), so your voice is always out front — you can even set this level to your own persona

Overall it is the best bang for your buck. The fx could be a little stronger and easier to use. That being said, one of my favorite boards

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5 Channel DJ Mixer With Effects:

I am a DJ and have been using this mixer for 2 years and here's why I don't like it:
    1.RCA outputs only
2.Fader starts to stick after a little while
    3.Build quality is mehhh
4.The on-board effects are difficult to use
5.The B.P.M counters don't work quickly and are usually wrong

Not having xlr, or even 1/4 in. outputs is hard when all the speakers are using those types of connections.

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5 Channel DJ Mixer With Effects:

I purchased the DJX750 in January of this year as a replacement for my Numark 1001X mixer I purchased in 1999. I needed something that would be an upgrade - 5 channel vs. 2 channel - but didn't have the budget to fork out the dough for a mixer provided by the heavy hitters such as Pioneer or Rane.

Upon first view one notices a similarity between the DJX750 and a black Pioneer DJM 600. Behringer did a nice job by adding a subtle brushed look to the surface of the mixer. Controls, knobs, faders, and the BPM counter screen is laid out pretty much the same which makes it easy for someone who is seasoned on the DJM series to get into the mix really fast on the Behringer. Unfortunately, and this is why the mixer only gets 4 stars instead of 5: the DJX750 is horrendous for figuring out its onboard effects, most of which really do sound good. The delay, echo, reverb, and flanger and others sound great but getting to them could intimidate even the most seasoned Pioneer pro.

Overall, Behringer really improved their quality control in their new line of electronics, particularly the ones featured in this year's NAMM expo in January. The DJX750 is a step in the right direction for Behringer. They basically cloned a great design provided by Pioneer but sacrificed things like minor build quality (still good for a Behringer product) and onboard 'on the fly' effects. Those are small gripes in comparison to the sound and overall joy of being able to use a budget oriented 5 channel mixer with a great talk over (ducking) feature that allows you to adjust the amount of volume that will be 'ducked' when you speak into the microphone. Nice touch, Behringer. There is a BPM counter/helper that is supposed to help in beat matching but it's really is more gimmicky than useful. It's a carry over from their DJX700 that was the low quality staple for budget minded bedroom DJs for years. It's useless for amateurs and pros but the nice red LED display mimics the Pioneer DJM series and looks very up to date and cozy in one's own DJ setup. Finally the coolest (and very thoughtful) feature is the kill switches that attenuate the bass, mid, and treble down -30 dB. Use them in conjunction with the EQ knobs and a DJ that uses EQs for effects in mixing can create some cool effects strictly from the EQs and kill switches. They both work great together. Another nice feature.

All in all it's well worth the price if you are wanting a simple 5 channel mixer that you know would not be placed in a larger club. If you really want to flex its wings outside of the four walls of the bedroom or living room and such this mixer could be considered the backup to the backup mixer if a DJ wishes to use this in a club setting. Reliability issues have always been a factor with Behringer products, but with a new dynamic promotion and a change in their QC over the years Behringer is finding a nice niche in the entry level DJ market with products that will last a bit longer than before. I have used mine quite a bit since January of 2010 and have had no problems, degradation in sound quality, or parts breaking or flying off. I hope to use this mixer for years to come. It has raised a few eyebrows of my doubtful DJ friends which says a lot considering who this German company is up against in the DJ world.

Comments about Behringer DJX750 5 Channel DJ Mixer With Effects:

I bought this mixer as a substitute mixer until i had the funds to purchase a pioneer or RANE.

        RCA outputs, no XLRS :(

I have been using this mixer for 6months. I DJ 3-4 times a week. Just recently the fader went out. Im hoping by contacting BEHRINGER they will send me a replacement. (i use the fader alot). Also one of the KILL switches popped out and I lost the button. The effects are hard to use and not easy to select on the FLY.

The MIC section is really "hot" and I always get feedback on the MIC.
Also only ONE MIC input. :(

Perfect as a backup MIXER or SUBMIXER but would not recommend for your main mixer. Spend the extra bucks for the PIONEER.
