The Behringer EP2500 is an extremely musical power amplifier that can take a whole night's worth of abuse without missing a beat ? even at 2 ohms! This amp is a dependable workhorse that will never let you down. You get enough real-world watts to get you through the roughest gigs: 2 x 1200 watts into 2 ohms or 2400 watts into 4 ohms bridged mono operation. Experience has probably taught you that there is nothing worse than when your amp runs out of breath. With the EP2500 you're covered all the way. From the deepest bass all the way up to the most subtle highs, you will be amazed at the clarity and richness of sound. This kind of multi-faceted performance was previously possible only with amps costing hundreds more. The EP2500 meets the needs of professional musicians for both installed and touring applications. No corners were cut in the design process. You can rest assured that these are tough reliable amps built to last. Each EP Series amp has a massive power supply with a low-noise toroidal transformer and lots of headroom, so your music always sounds great ? even when you push the amp to the limit! Add an extremely effective cooling system and you have an amp that is guaranteed to be trouble-free. Further underscoring Behringer's commitment to excellence, they've used only high-quality, high-speed FAIRCHILD and TOSHIBA transistors.

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
This amp is one of the best amps out there at an affortable price. I am constantly on a budget and i am always in need for new equipment. This affortabe amp is great and it packs a punch. It never gets hot, it creates no distortion noises, and when i use it with my two Eurolive P2520 it is Perfect. The Eurolive P2500 was made for the P2520 and are a powerful combination. This amp really really good and although is weighs up to 60 or 70 pounds, it is still worth it. As a professional and House DJ i Recommend it to the best of Dj's.

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
I own 8 QSC 3102s and 6 of these Behringer babies. I will keep the 8 QSCs, but I am buying 4 more of the EP2500s. Unbelievable performance for the price. Never runs hot, never distorts, serious power for outdoor functions; just be prepared to get a good workout if you have multiple units like I do - they weigh about 50 lbs each. But I love them. Did I mention I am getting 4 more to compliment my concert-level sound setup?

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
I have a big system since i do proms, live functions with bands , so I use big speakers and I bought this amp because my crown xls 802 was clipping with my peavey speakers that are 700 watts rms and 1400 peak and my friend told me to try this amp I really did not have any high hopes for this amp [$] but when I plugged it in to my peaveys wow they sounded better than ever i was amazed and Ive been using this amp for more than 8 months now and no problems at all it has never clipped on me not even once and I really push this amp to the limits usually I have the gain 3/4 or more and the sound is amazing very clear and thumping lows not intended for small speakers though . its amazing how the xls 802 does not compare to this amp .

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
I started using this amp about 2 years ago. It only clipped once. I'm not sure if its the same for all ep2500, but This one didn't turn completely off it just lost about 50% of it power while recovering. This is a must when performing.
Unlike the crown 602&802 xls series, they just turn off for 10 to 15 mins. Try explaining that to a customer.

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
I have one of these in my mobile dj system, and i must say it has never disappointed in any of the weddings or parties that i do. You hook it up and it just works.. not too complicated. It has the usual features like clip limiters and subsonic filters. It does not have any extra features like DSP etc. but if you want an amp that can take a beating, this is it. My only real problem is that it is pretty heavy for its size. Weight is the enemy of all mobile djs.

Comments about Behringer EP2500 Power Amplifier:
Behringer has created a powerful and reliable product with the EP2500. I run two for my front of house rig and there is plenty of power to spare. There a little heavy but that's why man created wheels. I plan on buying two more so I can bridge two per side and really blow you away.....
