Yes, I would recommend this to a friend BUT, You get what you pay for. I wanted the QSC 2450 but did not want to fork out the CA$H. This puts out the same power as the 2450. Like I said On the 3rd time of use it burned up. I had a party coming up and I needed a amp, so I forked out the ca$h and got the QSC 2450. Like I should of done in the first place. I did get it fixed so now I have a back-up amp or if I need more power I got it. It now works like a champ. Would I buy it again..."Yes" But I WOULD Buy a QSC FIRST! This might not happen to you but you never know..."YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR".

I use this amp to power 2 B-52 LX18 subs and it does the job no problem. I used to use my Qsc rmx 2450 to power them, but I use it to power 4 other speakers. Just make sure you match your speaker ohms and hook it up properly and this amp will last as long as a Qsc.

Comments about Behringer EP4000 Power Amplifier:
I run a D.J./K.J business. Unlike most of my competition, I used to play in a band and was the sound man for other bands. I believe there is no reason to skimp on your sound system. I had to do a double take when I saw this amp, as most with the same wattage rating are considerably higher priced. The only thing that I found was there was only one output style to the speakers. Traditionally I was used to having bananna plugs or 1/4 TS connections. The new style of "twist" connectors was not quite compatable with all my cabling. However, there are adaptors to go to the 1/4 TS connections at a reasonable price. [$]
