The first one I got via [...] the left side was dead. I did not want the hassle of returning it, so I opened the left earpiece only to find the soldered connection broken. Once resoldered, it worked well. I have been using them for almost 2 years, without any problems. The sound quality is just as good as any other $$$$ ones that are used for DJing. I can bet any amount of money that you can't tell the difference when in a loud club environment. In a studio ?????, but they were not meant for that. Thats why I have 3 of them plus a spare that I have never used.

Nice Headphones when working, after first month right side went out, 2 months later the left side went out. If you are looking for disposable headphones then these are for you. They are very comfortable and have a nice sound when they work. I would not call this a waste of money, 3 months for [$]bucks not bad.
