    Comments about Behringer MDX4600 4 Ch Compressor/Limiter:

I love Behringer sound processors because they function EXACTLY how you set them, and they give you so much control and functionality at such a low price.

I've gone through two of these units, each lasting about two years, in my mobile DJ rigs, and one or two of the channels have gone out each.

It's embarrassing when it fails in my case because it's happened right in the middle of a wedding ceremony and during a maid of honor speech at a reception. Both times happened on the hottest days of the year, so it's clearly a condition of heat.

I have since switched to Samson's 4 channel unit, which I understand is little more reliable for a few bucks more. I like the Samson, but I do miss the amount of timing control this Behringer unit gave me; though arguably the Samson sounds better.

Great entry unit for DJs who want to learn how to process their signal, and make the most out of their system.

      Comments about Behringer MDX4600 4 Ch Compressor/Limiter:

When I am playing a show and singing with my guitar, there are often times that I am not playing while singing. I figured that a good noise gate would help to reduce string squeal and such, so I bought mine off eBay for a song. Slammed it in my guitar rack and I do use the compressor, but I mainly use the noise gate. It travels well, lights up the rack, and does what I ask it to do without problems.
