Comments about Behringer VMX1000USB 7 Ch RackMount DJ Mixer /USB:
Purchased two new mixers this year. One I use mainly for mics, guitars and effects, this one I bought just for my three CD players, laptop and tape for my mobile DJ service. It replaces my old main mixer of fifteen years.
I only gave it a four star because you can't sample music on the headphones that's not being heard by others. Not sure why this option was left out of the design. DJ's need this.

Comments about Behringer VMX1000USB 7 Ch RackMount DJ Mixer /USB:
No one else has USB connectivity at this price. Just plug your laptop in the USB port and go. Great for beginners who aren't able to afford a high-dollar USB mixer yet. Typical Behringer sound and durability. If you bolt it in a rack and use it carefully, it'll last for a while. Behringer controls have been shaky and it distorts at high volume, but the price can't be beat.
