I have a QSC rmx850, with I believe 200 watts a channel . Will this be enough power for this sub? Thanks Henry
null on Jul 30, 2011
BEST ANSWER: You may want to consider going with the RMX-2450. You will have enough headroom to push this subwoofer and get the best quality of sound.
is it absolutely necessary to run an external crossover or can they be just as efficient directly to an amplifier?
Sam on Mar 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Without a crossover, you won't be able to guide where the frequencies should be coming out of and you'll have redundancy in your frequency spectrum.
Good morning. I have 2 BEHRINGER EUROLIVE B208D an now I need a sub. Would this work with the speakers I have ? Would I need and amp for the sub ? What would you raccomend , as alternative , still with Behringer .

Thank you and have a nice day ,
David .
simplydavid on Mar 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend against mixing powered and passive speakers, as it tends to make setup much more complicated. If you were to get the Behringer VP1800S, you would need an amplifier for it. Given that you're using 8 inch tops, I would recommend either a Behringer B1200D or B1500D as your subwoofer.
What are the dimensions?
Mike Club Manager on Apr 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: HI Mike the dimensions for this vp1800s : 25.5 x 22 x 27.9 inches ; 99.2 pounds.
Can I hook this subwoofer to a behringer amp
Gabe on Jul 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can technically hook this up to any amp but what you need to take into account is the appropriate wattage ratings for it.
Hello can you please let me know if I can hook this subwoofer to a Fender Passport 300 that I bought from you for my bass? Thanks

Instead of using an amplifier to power this, can I use a direct line from my powered speakers to power the sub?
Nate on Nov 21, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the answer to your question is no. You would need to use an amp to power the sub. If you are using powered speakers then I would suggest getting a powered sub. Thank You.
Will a Peavey IPR-1600 amp work out if I hook up 2 of these subs? Thanks!
djmadrix on Oct 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: http://www.pssl.com/Peavey-CS-3000-Power-Amplifier
http://www.pssl.com/Peavey-IPR-DSP-3000-Power-Amplifier

Both of those amps are going to be much better choices to run a pair of these subs!
The IPR 1600 would significantly under power your speakers potentially causing harm.
Can i get an adaptor to run a bass amp head into this thing?
Bob on Sep 28, 2012
BEST ANSWER: You can power this with a bass amp. The power inputs on the back of this sub are speakon and 1/4 inch. Preferably use a 1/4 inch if you are power it with a bass amp.

I want to hook this up to a Peavey XR 8600 pa head. Does it have a built in crossover? I want to run my Pa head --> to sub--> to 2 main speakers? I have never used a sub, so I am truly clueless.

Big Bang For The Buck
Pros: Great Sound Quality,Good Power Output,Easy To Set Up,Attractive Design

Maybe the low end sub, but this baby packs a big punch. I was very impressed with one, so I bought a second for even more thump.
I used these with 10 inch tops on an outdoor stage. The stage had a metal frame and top, well we rumbled the roof literally.

The sound quality was excellent.
