Comments about Behringer VP1800S Eurolive 18in Pro Subwoofer *:

Maybe the low end sub, but this baby packs a big punch. I was very impressed with one, so I bought a second for even more thump.
I used these with 10 inch tops on an outdoor stage. The stage had a metal frame and top, well we rumbled the roof literally.

    The sound quality was excellent.

You may want to consider going with the RMX-2450. You will have enough headroom to push this subwoofer and get the best quality of sound.

Why not bridge the amp and let it rip !!!!!!! For good bass always use an external crossover !!!!!! Have fun !!!!!!!!! Peace !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to hook this up to a Peavey XR 8600 pa head. Does it have a built in crossover? I want to run my Pa head --> to sub--> to 2 main speakers? I have never used a sub, so I am truly clueless.

          A:

This has a low pass filter so you don't need a crossover. If you need more in depth advice please don't hesitate to call us.
