Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202FX 12-Input 2-Bus Mixer w/FX:
Everyone in my family plays an instrument-- from guitars, keyboards, drums and voice and we needed a mixer so when we wanted to jam together or add other players, we could all be heard and levels adjusted. This small unit has plenty of inputs and the effects are excellent(we mostly use slight reverb/echo) but the others are fun to fool around with. EQ adjustments are good and layout of sliders/knobs is fairly intuitive. Paired this with a 100W speaker also from PSSL. The only con is that power is always on, but I plug it into a power strip with an on/off switch so that's how we power it up or down. The four of us jam together and sometimes cousins join in with their guitars and mics so having so many inputs comes in handy (although the most we have used at once is 8 inputs). Very good product.

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202FX 12-Input 2-Bus Mixer w/FX:
I bought this little guy because I have a XENYX 2222FX but it's too bulky for a small venue and we have a dual dj set up and guest dj's that bring thier own decks & multiple mics at times. It's perfect and quick to plug in. The built in effects are dead on good quality. I suggest that once you plug in the portable ac adapter that you hot glue it in place. The 3 little pins & alignment tab is very fragile and broke on me before an event whil I was plugging it in. Had to run home for my XENYX 2222FX. I loved it when I had a chance to use it, but now I'm waiting for a replacement ac adapter...
