Panaray® MB4 Modular Bass Loudspeaker
Change the performance with the addition of bass.
Increase the impact of your performances with the Panaray® MB4 modular bass loudspeaker. This speaker provides extended bass performance for small to large venues such as bars, restaurants, clubs, hotels, houses of worship and theaters. An ideal match with other speakers in the Bose® Panaray line, this speaker delivers bass response, durability and wide bandwidth to almost any application.
Versatility
Use the MB4 speaker as a building block or foundation for your
system. When you need additional bass output, simply combine units. Its modular
design allows you to safely stack multiple units to match the bass output to
your mid to high-frequency loudspeakers. When it's time for public speaking or
simple acoustic sets, let the Bose 402® Series II or 802® Series III
loudspeakers do all the work.
Portability
Bring the MB4 speaker on the road and leave reliability
concerns at home. Its rugged design and durable endcaps provide protection from
constant setup and tear-down. Built-in handles permit easy moving by a single
person and its performance is backed by a transferable five-year limited
warranty.
Control the bass
Deliver the sound your crowd expects with the flexibility
of the MB4 speaker. Use multiple units with the custom bass arrays and the
Panaray system digital controller, to target bass to specific areas. You can
send bass to the dance floor but not the bar, for example. You're in control of
your sound.

can I plug my bass guitar direct into this unit? Are there any tone controls?Asked on 12/19/2011 by Anonymous from st. albert, alberta canada1 answer
A:
I do not believe that these speakers have a built in mixer for adjusting tone. I do not believe that this speaker is ideally suited for pluging a bass guitar in directly. Feel free to call us and we can get you into a bass amplifier that fits your needs. 800 945 9300.Answered on 12/19/2011 by Garrett from Cypress, CA

Q:
what power system or systems is used for this sub ? Im thinking about using this with the 402 for DJingAsked on 5/26/2010 by marcus from hampton va1 answer

A:
110dB with panaray 1 system, 116dB with 2 system, 119dB with 3 system, and 121dB with 4 system. It will work with all of them but a slightly different output level is added with the conjunction of each model. You can combine up to 4 MB4 bass modules for each channel on the panaray systems to get more SPL on it. I hope this answers your question!Answered on 5/27/2010 by Zach B. ext. 8207 from Cypress, CA
