Q:
I have a pair of Cerwin Vega 15" speakers now, powered by an american audio 1500 amp. If I added this sub, would I have enough power to push all 3 speakers or would I need to get another amp?Asked on 1/20/2010 by Darin from Colorado2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You will be underpowering your Vega's. Typically you want to take the rms of the speaker you have and multiply that by 1.5, and that will be the minimum amount of wattage need to run that speaker. Underpowering is actually worse than over powering a speaker. Strongly suggest buying an amp and dedicate it to the sub separately.Answered on 1/20/2010 by Leroy D. from Cypress, CAVERIFIED BUYER

I also have a pair of Cerwin Vega 15" INT-152 and the amp that I have is the cerwin vega CV2800, the bass that I get on the INT118 s good but I feel as a sub-woofer it could give more bass,so I am planning to hook my other CERWIN VEGA CV 1800 to get more Bass instead of having it lying around in my garage.Answered on 5/25/2010 by H from Carson, Ca
