A:
Yes, this a 2 way speaker system. Unfortunately Cerwin Vega has discontinued the production of these speakers. We have some alternative and improved speakers that would work for you. Feel free to call in and we will do our best to help you.Answered on 7/8/2011 by David from PSSL
Q:
what's the peak watts and continues play wattsAsked on 9/10/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This speaker is rated as follows:
Power Handling (Watts): RMS 350 W | Program 700 W | Peak 1400 W
You would need an amp that can push 1000W at 4 ohms for peak-to-peak performance. I would go with something like the Behringer EPQ2000 Professional Power Amplifier. With the appropriate amplifier and breakout cable, you could successfully drive these speakers from your laptop. However, these Cerwin Vega speakers are not powered speakers and will require an amplifier to drive the signal. So in answer to your question, you can not drive these from just your laptop.Answered on 9/15/2010 by Anonymous

2.What amp do you recommend to push two of these?

A:
The RMS on this speaker is 500w and peaks at 1000w at 4 ohms.
Recommened any amp that gives you 500w at 4ohm minimum stereo.
