The 4BAR is a pack-and-go must have for DJs, bands and other performers who want a complete LED wash light system. This 15-channel DMX system includes a foot switch, adjustable tripod, packing bag and transport case. Each of the four low-profile lights can be positioned independently. With 108 red, green and blue LEDs per light, the 4BAR offers built-in automated and sound activated programs accessible with or without the foot switch.

The 4Bar is a great product to have in your light arsenal. Packing these lights is so much easier than packing equivalent par cans to do the same job. I'm not impressed with the built in programs or the foot switch, but with the use of DMX the 4Bar becomes an extremely flexible fixture when some time is put in to generate creative scenes and chases. I replaced the original short IEC cables with 25ft cables. It would have been nice if longer IEC cables were provided with the fixture.

For its price it gets the job done! It would be nice if the DMX programming offered more options. A major bonus was the carrying cases; hopefully they will streamline this eventually so that both the stand and lights are held in one case. Carrying two cases can be cumbersome.A final recommendation would be to improve the digital display and user interface on the actual product. This review may sound like I dont like the product, which is not the case, I love it, everything can be improved upon if the customers voice their opinions.

The portability of this unit is really incredible. With half the weight and space I am able to get wash lighting to my gig that put out some great color and dosnt overheat. Used it now for quite a few gigs and have had no reliability issues. All the connections are built really well and the included footpedal and stand are of similar quality. The patterms are pretty standard and for wash lighting it does what it needs to do. I would not use this to replace Par Cans at a large gig but for smaller stuff it really shines (literally). The weight savings really made this deal for me. ADJ has a similar unit but I tested it out and it is not as bright as the Chauvet and the Cans looked like they would break off - not to knock ADJ gear though I like most of their stuff. If you are looking to replace your old cans for smaller gigs pick this up and I think youll be happy.

I used to do every thing from weddings to sound and lights for county fairs. I retired from the biz 5 years ago but I still keep getting request to do shows so I started doing them on the side. I needed a small lite show so I bout the 4 Bar system. I didn't have time to install DMX software on the puter so I took it and used it with the built in chase. Sweeeeeet! I used to run 24 par 56's on twenty ft. of trusses on crank up stands with 12.5k watts of PEAVEY PA. If you want to impress buy two and daisy chain them add your other lighting and you'll be set. Would suggest DMX control for better control and effect.

Obviously the greatest pro about this items is it's ease to set up and break down. The chase scenes are ample enough where they don't get boring with repetition. I love the foot controller because sometimes I just want a red or blue wash. Other times you want the chasing to add energy and excitement to the song. Also I love the hard case. All in all a great product. I plan to purchase another in the next month. And please don't let me forget to say how wonderful the staff is to deal with! Nice package, foot controller and sound control are weak. The lights look nice and provide a good wash. Since pssl does not allow lights to be returned, I will probably buy a controller from someone to run these.

If you can get your hands on one of these, I would highly reccomend it! It is very easy to set up and the wash can easily fill a small bar, or dancefloor. The stand goes very high and this will a nice professional looking lightshow to your existing setup. This will be used at all my Friday night shows.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate PSSL and the CSR's that took care of me. Service was outstanding!!! This kit was "out of the box" up and running in miniutes. I easily navigated through internal programs and sensitivity settings. Mind you this was my first lighting purchase. Only wish I could have purchased two. Great color wash effects with a fade speed that's adjustable. Chauvet has truely set the "bar" with this product. Highly recommended for mobile DJ's and bands that like to control their own effects. Would be nice though if Chauvet would give a power cable that's longer than 3Ft!

The foot controller has a 25' ish long cable. But the connector is a four pin plug like a CB radio cord. I would suggest for your use that you buy a cheap small DMX controller with a external trigger (input for a foot switch) and put in your own preset's. If your order 2, you will get 2 foot controllers regardless. It is a packaged deal and comes included. You can althou, control both systems by one controller. Simply purchase 1 DMX cable to link them together and you will have a 2 in 1 system. You must use this stand, simply because the T Bar on this stand is actually the Relay Pack.
