Comments about Chauvet DERBY-X DMX LED Effect Light:
The fan shape throw is unique to this light which can be used to an advantage if two of them are on each side of a truss system.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDV_CE16zGY&feature=related

Comments about Chauvet DERBY-X DMX LED Effect Light:
This is a great light! It has a very big range, the auto feature reads the music very well and the effects never get old! I personally like the strobe effect because it has a club and rave feel at the same time. The only downfall to this light is that you need fog or haze to see the beams, and tge beams arent very bright. As far as power goes its not really on top but for the range it provides I cant complain. Overall I would definately reccomend this product, its a great center light and works really wellfor any beginner or professional DJ. The only other light that I would reccomend in comparison would be the Chauvet Jellyfish... its the same exact light except it has a little less power... but to make up for that the body is transparent so you can see through it and it creates a nice visual effect for your lightshow. Hope I helped... much love!

Comments about Chauvet DERBY-X DMX LED Effect Light:
This is not the brightest LED I have seen but it is a great effect light. This light has huge range and with a bit of fog it gives a very professional look just using the sound activated feature. Being able to connect these together is great it's like making one great light into a stack of awesome.

Comments about Chauvet DERBY-X DMX LED Effect Light:
Have been hesitant to go LED since I'm a big fan of aerial effects used with fog. After looking at the video on YouTube, I was convinced. This light really delivers for the money. It's DMX so you can build your own program. Or if not the built in program is really good in stand alone mode. It doesn't pull any power or get hot. Which is great when your limited on outlets. Best of all is feather lightweight! Pick it up and you'll wonder if there's anything inside the housing! My only beef is the sound adjustment doesn't work so good. Dial it in to sound and it just runs all the time and triggers too quickly. Used with fog it has good aerial effects and a wide coverage. If you're not sure, check out the videos available on YouTube and you'll be sold too!

A:
This light has a feature that makes it possible to run 2 of them and have them both be syncronized. The bracket is so you can place both lights on top of eachother and they will work as one which is a very nice addition to your lightshow!... If you have any more questions just ask! Much Love
