The DMX-4 Dimmer/Relay pack is a 4-channel unit featuring two Edison plugs per channel, with each channel independently addressable. In addition, each separate channel can be configured as either dimmer or relay. The DMX-4 features 16 user-selectable chase patterns, a variable electronic dimmer and LED display. Designed for truss mounted applications with easy access to fuse replacement.

Great Versatile Dimmer Pack. It does exactly what it says it does and does it well. Easy to set and program with an easily readable display. For a basic package I recommend this very highly. The 2 outlets make it easy to set up multiple lights of the same style or lights that pair well together. I use this especially for stage warmers, and fill lighting and it is excellent. Plus, having the plugs on the top instead of the sides makes it a lot easier when you need to rig, use, then load out all in a few hours.

I bought this dimmer pack to add to my Christmas light display. I use the popular brand of computer software and hardware controllers for my musical front yard display. I also have a DMX adapter so I can add additional multi-color fixtures and lighting circuits controlled by dimmers I already owned. At the last minute I decided to add some lights on my back deck to also be synchronized to the music. This dimmer pack is ideal for the four colors of LED Christmas lights I have in my back yard. I own a similar product (NSI D4DMX) but I like the additional feature on the Chauvet unit that allows it to be used as a relay switch pack instead of only dimmers.

I have six of the Chauvet DMX-4 Dimmer Packs and I currently run 4 each 300 watt bulbs on each. My question is: Will these units handle 4 each 500 watt bulbs? Yes, the DMX-4 Dimmer Packs has a total capacity of 20 amp. I have used 500 watts pars on that 20 amp spec with no issues. FYI: the 15 amp spec is incorrect.Answered on 5/10/2012 by Minh
