Fitted with three high- power LEDs, the Double Derby X updates the classic derby effect and is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, easing transportation, installation, stowing and use. It is linkable with other fixtures in the X series that share the X Bracket, plus the LED Mushroom. Preprogrammed and sound-activated via master/slave or DMX.

I have two of these and they have been one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. This little light is Light weight, bright, and for its size it's beams can reach pretty far. I have even been able to succesfully use this light at outdoor events with the sun still up. One recomendation is fog, with fog this light performes at its best. It literally looks like it does in the pictures and we all know that those are taken at optimum conditions. The only con with this light is that its DMX capabilities are very limited. You can only choose to which side you want the wheel to rotate and whether you want it on or off. It would awesome if you could control the colors so that you could make them match your other lights. Overall, this light is very good for its price. Using this will add that last finishing touch to any light show.

I have purchased 2 of these, and hung them on the far side of a truss system, opposite of each other. These produce a tremendous amount of light. We used them for a 250 person wedding the first time. It produced more than enough light. We have them hooked up with 6 Led Par 64's. A LED star-ball and two moon-flower led lights. Works superbly. Also very lightweight and easy to set up.

I have this hooked up to two of the Chauvet LED Mushroom lights in a Master/Slave Sound Active configuration and the three lights together put on an excellent show.
It does have a slight noise of the motor turning if no music is playing but once you crank up the tunes you wont notice it.
